Walk Away Standing is an organization that believes in the power of hope. Our mission is to help victims of domestic violence to regenerate love for themselves and to continue a positive journey to their destiny. Currently, we have an attaché case filled with resources, small prayer books, paper, calculator, business cards, pen and a “dear daughter letter” of encouragement. We will strive to minimize their moments of desperation and hopelessness with an element of hope and possibilities which is something all victims of any crime needs. We will team up with the local domestic violence shelters, transitional living facilities, police departments, churches and schools to offer services for the many levels of distractions that is being exploited in the world. We desire to diminish loneliness and increase knowledge to make different choices for their lives with an attainable balance. We will provide a tangible resource making this project be an engineer world-wide. 

We know that being a victim does not discriminate which is why our dedication to this purpose will be without prejudice. My own personal story of abuse had left me with scars of abandonment, helplessness and anger. The aftermath of those emotions had at times penetrated the core of my being. God carried me from those places of destruction to loving myself, to caring for others and seeking better for others. The gift of listening beyond what is being said and offering to the broken hearts by directing them to the love of God is what has transformed my life. Abuse is a silent killer but with hope a person can live again. My journey was halted for a moment. Without a doubt this project is my God given purpose to help others get to their purpose. God is waiting!! And He is Walking with them.
